Four Wards of Charlotte Bike Tour - May 18th

It’s time to grab your bicycles (and helmets!) and join us for a tour of the historic four wards of Uptown Charlotte.

The Historic Landmarks Commission and the Charlotte Spokes People are joining forces again, this time for a fun and informative Uptown bike ride to visit six local historic landmarks: First A.R.P. Church (now the McColl Center for Visual Arts), the former Mecklenburg Investment Company and North Carolina Medical College buildings, the old Crowell-Berryhill Store (now Alexander Michael’s restaurant), and the Elmwood, Pinewood, and Settlers’ cemeteries. Along the way, we’ll also view 13 more local historic landmarks. (See links to these landmarks below.) What better way to welcome spring than a little exercise and education, Charlotte-style?
